The new version of Facebook AWD is ready for test.
It’s not a final release, but each feature should work better and faster.
Due to the number of changes in 1.4, you will loose all your settings.
After the update, you must reconfigure the plugin
The plugin (Beta version) is not yet compatible with sub plugins of Facebook AWD.
What’s new in this version ?
The system opengraph is totally new. Now you must create opengraph objects
and associate them to type of posts or directly to posts.
For the moment, audio and media files for opengraph are in progress.
You can create/edit/copy objects through the admin interface.
The plugin is now compatible with WP roles.
Each Role has Facebook AWD capabilities.
Exemple:
An author can manage pages to sync when he publish a post but he can’t manage Facebook AWD settings.
An Editor can manage opengraph settings and pages to sync when he publish a post.
An Administrator can do everything.
The login/logout is now 100% working in all recent browsers.
The Facebook PHP SDK was updated to latest (3.2) and extended to manage the connect timeout.
The architecture of the program was changed.
Forms and widgets were totally rewrite.
Javascript file and Css file were rewrite
